A counter-level idea, born on the sales floor
Tap Review Local grew out of years spent on the front line of wireless retail — helping customers face to face, solving problems at the counter, and later managing multiple locations where every day came down to the same thing: how people felt when they walked out the door.
That work made one lesson impossible to ignore. For a local business, reputation, customer experience and word of mouth are everything. A great interaction can bring a family back for years — but only if it's remembered, and only if it's shared.
The gap was never the service. It was the distance between a happy customer and the business's review page. So we built something simple: use NFC technology to shorten that path to a single tap, no app and no QR code in the way.
That instinct is sharpened by study. Founder MD Faisal Ayub moved from a bachelor's and a master's in business straight into a PhD in entrepreneurship, researching the exact place Tap Review Local operates: how small, local businesses grow through reputation, trust and word of mouth.
